Estonian supermodel Carmen Kass is known for slinking across runways from Paris to New York, earning bags of money for her campaigns plastered across billboards for top fashion houses, and now ... now she is becoming known for her interest in chess. Elected president of the Estonian Chess Federation last year, Kass is transforming the sex appeal of this otherwise not terribly popular spectator sport.

According to a recent article in the New York Times entitled Sex and Chess, Kass' interest in chess is but the tip of the iceberg when it comes to hot chicks flexing their mental muscles. Kudos to women who can reinvent themselves, do interesting things and still look hot. Checkmate?!
