INDIA IS CELEBRATING HER 60TH BIRTHDAY THIS YEAR.
And from SEPTEMBER 23-30, 2007, NEW YORK WILL SEE INDIA REFLECTED IN EVERY ASPECT OF HER CULTURE ALL OVER THE CITY.

INDIA @ 60 CELEBRATIONS kick off on SUNDAY, September 23, 2007 at Lincoln Center, NYC from 4-8pm.

NEEDED: 30 greeters dressed in Indian finery to greet guests (our Prime Minister, Ministers of Parliament, members of the Confederation of Indian Industry, members of Indian arts, culture, entertainment, corporate, academic, science, technology, media industries).

Honorarium: Each GREETER will be paid $100 for the evening approximately 5 hours). Please be available to arrive at 4pm for instructions on that day. YOU MUST BE ON THE LIST AND CONFIRMED BEFORE YOU SHOW UP THAT DAY!

Duties: Registration, greeting (Namaste, putting a bindi on the women's heads, placing a shawl around each guests' shoulders)
