Actor George Clooney said he would love to act in one of the spectacular song and dance movies produced by Bollywood.

'I'd love to. There are some film-makers whose films, when you see, you say: That could be an interesting story to tell,' he said in an interview with CNN-IBN TV channel.

The Oscar-winning actor said he is a fan of the Indian film industry and is impressed with the way it had expanded.

'I was watching a film the other day and the music was just amazing. It's become such a huge industry,' Clooney added.

'There is a small market in the US as of now, but it will be fun if it catches on because it is such a positive way of looking at film-making and I really love that.'

Labelled the sexiest man alive by People magazine this year for the second time, Clooney is a hot favourite among India's English-speaking middle and upper classes.

'It seems like the Indian filmmakers are pushing boundaries in terms of pushing the censors. I think (Bollywood) is an interesting place for film-makers to go,' Clooney said.

His upcoming film, The Good German, is scheduled for release on 15 Dec in US. It will be released in India in April. - AP.
