*SEEKING CONTEMPORARY DANCERS*

*Parijat Desai Dance Company is seeking 3-4 versatile, intelligent
dancers (all genders)with strong technique for paid performances in Los Angeles, Houston, and New York in 2007, and to work with the company ongoing.

*Ideal candidates have:

� a capacity for dynamic, full-bodied movement (strong
modern/postmodern or ballet technique preferred)

� articulate arms/hands

� experience with percussive rhythmic footwork

� ability to grasp principles of multiple movement forms.
PDDC performs contemporary choreography drawing on *Indian classical and
modern dance, as well as yoga and martial art.* Rehearsals begin in November
2006.
