This year the Filmfare Awards function will see some power packed performances by Bollywood biggies. Aishwarya Rai will be paying tribute to 'Bar dancers' from Bollywood, while Abhishek Bachchan will be performing to his track from Bluffmaster. Madhuri Dixit's act will be a surprise item, while Shamita Shetty will pay a tribute to the late Parveen Babi.

“Although some tabloid reported that Madhuri would be paying a tribute to Parveen Babi, it is actually Shamita who will be putting up a special act on Babi and not Dixit. She is probably performing her number from Devdas and other films,” inform the sponsors.

“This year we will try and make the event look unique. Filmfare is the oldest film award show hosted since the birth of the Hindi film industry,” says Anuj Saxena of Elder pharmaceuticals. Javed Jaffery and Gaurav Gera will host the show, along with Cyrus Barucha, Tabu, Lara Dutta and Feroz Khan.

The Filmfare award will be held on the February 25 at MMRDA Grounds. The Filmfare Black Lady remains the ultimate aspiration of every Indian actor, producer and director. There are a total of 31 awards that are awarded every year, including two Lifetime Achievement awards. The grand finale will be performed by noted choreographer Shaimak Davar where Will Smith will make a special appearance.
