NOW SEEKING PLAY SUBMISSIONS: SEVEN.11 2006!

Seeking plays for the Seven.11 Convenience Theatre series, which takes seven, 11-minute plays, all set in a convenience store, and
weaves them together to present an evening of entertaining quickies for all to enjoy.

All scripts must be 11 pages or less, in proper play format, with a
max of three actors (role-doubling, however, is permitted) and set
in a convenience store. No other requirements than to write something that challenges, defies, or just tells a darn good story. Each play should be able to stand alone; many of the plays from our previous seven.11's have had independent productions around the country.

Some of last year's stories included teen nerd club drama, Holi color antics, and an original pop musical that explored Soonderella's escape from an arranged marriage and a deli store life.

A full production in downtown NYC, scheduled for April 2006, and a
modest, honorary stipend will be provided for chosen plays. Plus, an
opportunity to learn more about the workshopping process, from start
