Hadid’s first project in the United States also made her the first women to design an American museum. Opening to international publicity in 2003, the CAC is a geometric conglomeration located in downtown Cincinnati. The completion of the CAC brought popular recognition to Hadid’s avant-garde designs, contributing to her 2004 Pritzker Prize win.
