Mira Nair

Director/Producer Mira Nair was born in India and educated at Delhi University and at Harvard. She is the director of Salaam Bombay!, Monsoon Wedding, Hysterical Blindness and Vanity Fair. Nair teamed up with Bala Entertainment International in April 2004 to establish International Bhenji Brigade (IBB), a film production company that will create independent Asian cinema for the global marketplace.
