With 130 works spanning six rooms, the show is the first of its kind in over three decades to deliver Courbet’s work in all of its Realistic anti-glory. Set up stylistically and chronologically, the exhibit begins with his numerous self-portraits. Krishna Purohit reviews Courbet's work currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day is based on a novel by Winifred Watson of the same title, this movie opens in select theatres on March 7th.Director Bharat Nalluri, famous for directing the miniseries “Tsunami: The Aftermath”, calls this movie “A fairy tale for adults” and therein lies the crux. Walk into the movie theatre armed with your best “I believe” hat on and you are bound to have a great time.

In collaboration with Matt Geraghty, Satya Gummuluri has recently been part of the Matt Geraghty Project’s Passport CD. Recorded in Rio de Janiero, Chicago and New York City, the compositions owe their exploratory new music motifs and splashes to influences from India, Spain and Brazil.

The Leopard and the Fox

Alter Ego Productions presents the world premiere of The Leopard and the Fox written by acclaimed writer, film maker, and political activist Tariq Ali. The stage adaptation is written by NY based playwright Rajiv Joseph. Director Giovanna Sardelli is a graduate of NYU’s prestigious Tisch School.
